Privacy Policy
Eminle ("we," "us," "our") provides the Emotional Reactor, a middleware layer that adds emotional intelligence to AI conversations, along with the Echo chat experience built on top of it (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you use the Service, we may collect:
- Conversation content — the messages you send to Echo or through the Emotional Reactor API, and the responses generated, so the Service can maintain memory and emotional context across a conversation.
- Account and usage identifiers — a randomly generated user ID stored in your browser, API keys (for developer/paid tiers), and basic usage metrics (message counts, timestamps, tier).
- Contact information — name, email, and any message content you submit through our contact form.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details ourselves.
- Technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) collected automatically by our hosting providers.
2. How we use information
- To generate emotionally-aware responses and maintain conversational memory within the Service.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues.
- To respond to support and contact requests.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of free and paid tiers.
3. Third parties we share data with
We use a small number of infrastructure and service providers to run Eminle. Message content is sent to our language model provider to generate responses. Hosting and deployment are handled by our server and website hosts. Payments are processed by Stripe. Contact form submissions are processed by our form-handling provider. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms; we only share what's needed for them to perform their function.
We do not sell your personal information or conversation content to third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Data retention
Conversation memory is retained for as long as needed to provide the Service's memory features, or until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
5. Sensitive conversations
Because Echo is designed for emotionally open conversation, you may share sensitive personal information, including about your mental health or emotional state. We ask that you treat the Service as a supportive companion, not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or crisis care. Our Safety Layer is designed to recognize signs of crisis and encourage users to seek appropriate help, but it is not a clinical safety system and should not be relied on as one.
6. Your rights and choices
- You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- You can request correction or deletion of your data.
- You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under local law (e.g. GDPR, DPDP Act).
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to, and should not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
8. Contact us

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
